The 11th Munich Shanghai Analytical Biochemistry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as analytica China) concluded successfully at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on July 13, 2023. We would like to thank all participants for their hard work and support, as their joint efforts have made this technology exchange event a great success. analytica China 2023 brought together nearly 1,200 outstanding enterprises from around the world in the fields of analytics, diagnostics, laboratory technology and biochemical technology, and jointly created an industry feast integrating innovative products, high-end technologies and solutions.

To align with China's national development strategies and market hotspots focused on key deployments in multiple fields such as medical testing, vaccine research and development, medical devices, and traditional Chinese medicine, the "Life Sciences, Biotechnology & Diagnostics Zone" – one of the key exhibition zones at analytica China – is committed to building an one-stop service and exchange platform for life science research, healthcare, clinical diagnostics, and innovative drug R&D. Well-known enterprises showcased their advanced products in the life sciences field at analytica China, including analytical instruments and equipment, biochemical reagents, diagnostic instruments and reagents, consumables and accessories, as well as technical services. Ximeijie's booth was located at A208 in Hall 8.2, and the exhibition site was thronged with visitors, with every available space occupied.

As a major exhibitor at this exhibition, Ximeijie showcased products closely relevant to the industry, including offerings from AppliChem – a high-quality European supplier of biochemical reagents that provides thousands of types of pharmacopoeia-grade and cell culture-grade biochemical reagents, mycoplasma contamination prevention reagents, and DNA contamination removal reagents; and products from KPL, which offers a complete range of secondary antibodies, Western Blotting (WB) reagents, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) reagents, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) substrates, bacterial antibodies, and immunological auxiliary reagents. Additionally, Ximeijie presented more products such as basic components for cell culture media, ultrafiltrated vegetable peptones, various pharmacopoeia-grade biochemical reagents, GMP-grade nucleases, Host Cell Protein (HCP)/Host Cell DNA (HCD) detection kits, biological process impurity residue detection kits (e.g., for Protein A, Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), and Minute Virus of Mice (MVM)), injectable pharmaceutical excipients, antigens/antibodies/substrates, digital PCR systems, as well as services including applicability verification of host protein residue detection kits and development of custom kits. These products and services meet the one-stop needs throughout the entire lifecycle from R&D to production, covering processes such as cell culture, transfection, purification, quality control, formulation, and drug evaluation.

A steady stream of customers came to consult at the booth. Ximeijie had professional technicians on site to provide answers: they listened to each customer’s needs and explained [products/services] to them in a professional and attentive manner, and many customers expressed their intention to cooperate. As one of Ximeijie’s suppliers, Nippon Genetics also sent technical experts to the booth to communicate and discuss products and the market.
